The Affordable Care Act, better
known as Obamacare, was passed by a Democrat majority congress in early 2010
without a single Republican vote in neither the House nor the Senate. This
27,000 - page debacle was received and passed in the House with the prophetic
words of the then House Speaker, Nancy Pelosi, “You have to pass it to see what
is in it”. Not one elected official of either chamber read it, and yet, they
passed it.
Why would they do that? In the words of Theodore
Roosevelt, “Nothing in politics happens accidentally. If it happens, it was
planned that way.
In 2009, President Barack Hussein
Obama said he believed in the single payer health care plan. He still believes
in it, in fact, while he bemoans the problems of the start-up and the high
premiums along with the extremely high deductibles, his eyes are on the prize
of the single payer system, in short, socialized medicine. That is what he
really wants and the problems of Obamacare are nothing but smoke and mirrors.
And congress is in bed with him. If anyone
doubts this fact, keep in mind how many exemptions were given from the A.C.A.
How many times did he change this “law” just by saying he was changing it? It
is a LAW!! Any one person cannot change it. It takes an act of congress to do
so, yet, congress has been reluctant to act to stop him. Why, because they also
want a single payer system but in an election year are afraid to say it.
If the president can change it on a
whim, it is no longer a law and the Supreme Court should revisit their ruling
that allowed this horrible act to become the “law of the land” as the Democrat
leaders so love to espouse.
Obamacare has turned Americas
health care system on its ear. There are now more people without insurance than
this act was supposed to fix. We are losing doctors and some of our finest
hospitals may close. In other words they fixed something that wasn’t broke.
God help us if they find something
else to fix!!!
