The Ultimate Chocolate Idol

The Ultimate Chocolate Idol
By Shelly Arkon
What I’ll be writing about today is old news. Sorry about that. But it irks me to see 1.5 tons of dark chocolate used to make a life-sized statue of Pope Francis the week before Easter. The food of the quote gods has now been made into the ultimate chocolate idol.  Why didn’t this amount of chocolate go to the starving children around the world? Idolatry must be more important than feeding the hungry.
Didn’t God give the command, “Thou shalt have no other gods before me?”
How about Exodus 20:4? “Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth”
And Leviticus 26:1, which states: “Ye shall make no idols nor graven image, neither rear you up a standing image, neither shall ye set up any image of stone in your land, to bow down unto it: for I am the Lord your God.
I say idol because people look to him for the world’s answers to hunger, war, greed, and so forth and so on. People treat him like a rock star-another form of idol worship. Shouldn’t we be seeking God for the answers instead of some dude that wears a funny hat?

Past and present quotes by Popes make them equal to God on earth … so add some chocolate to that math. I can see this going somewhere crazy. Hmm…
Are people going to go cuckoo for Cocao-Pope? They already do without the chocolate goodness. What is going on?

Or is this the Pope’s ideal of spreading the wealth while there is a predicted shortage of chocolate coming by 2020? It all sounds a little 1984ish to me.
The quote below sounds like Obama. Is Pope Francis part of the Beast System? I will be exploring this topic over the next several months.
I wonder if anyone out there is seeing what I see?

Beware (An article about the Pope by author Shelly Arkon)

BEWARE

Beware of those who believe themselves a God.
Throughout the centuries of Rome's existence, the popes have regularly claimed to be divine. As the supposed successor of Peter, the Pope claims infallibility, the position of God on Earth, and ability to judge and excommunicate angels.
Cardinal Sarto, who became Pope Pius X, said this:
The Pope represents Jesus Christ Himself...i
This belief has so assimilated into society's thinking that it is believed by many beyond Catholic circles. According to TIME, Pope John Paul II's assassination attempt prompted a young Jewish man to say, "shooting the Pope—It's like shooting God."ii  http://amazingdiscoveries.org/R-Pope_Rome_blasphemy_power_Jesus
Beware of those who believe a direct and personal relationship with Jesus Christ without the Catholic Church (or any church for that matter) is a dangerous person.
Beware of those who perform miracles.
On March 21, 2015, in Naples, it appeared that Pope Francis turned dried blood into liquid. http://www.cnn.com/videos/world/2015/03/22/lok-nadeau-pope-naples.cnn
Beware of those who sing praises to Lucifer and believe that he is the father of Jesus Christ.
Beware of those who draw large crowds to themselves.
By all means beware of this man. He might not be who you’d like him to be.
